Cross-Pollination Brief — March 8, 2026

Klatch's first high-output day. Multi-entity interaction modes shipped in Steps 6 and 7 — panel (sequential), roundtable (orchestrated), directed (single-entity targeting) — along with Vitest test infrastructure (95 tests), v0.5.5/5.6 (responsive layout + light/dark theme), blog infrastructure, OG social preview image, and CC BY 4.0 license. Piper Morgan was quiet.

Key Insights

1. Multi-Entity Interaction Modes — Vocabulary Worth Borrowing

From: Klatch (Step 6+7) Relevant to: Piper Morgan

Klatch formalized three interaction modes on day two: panel (each entity speaks sequentially, no cross-reference), roundtable (orchestrated, agents aware of each other's responses), and directed (specific entity targeted with full entity context). These map to PM's multi-agent coordination patterns — PM runs variants of all three without this vocabulary.

For PM: these mode names are useful documentation vocabulary. When describing a sprint session where Lead Dev, Architect, and PPM each give independent input (panel), vs. a session where they read each other's memos and respond (roundtable), the distinction is load-bearing.

Suggested action (Piper Morgan): Consider adopting or adapting this vocabulary in PM's process docs. "Roundtable" is already used informally in PM — making the mode distinction explicit reduces coordination ambiguity.

2. Test Infrastructure Established by Day 2

From: Klatch Relevant to: Piper Morgan

95 tests established by Klatch's second day of real development. This mirrors PM's early investment in testing methodology. Both projects treat test infrastructure as blocking work — you can't ship confidently without knowing what broke. Klatch went with Vitest for the client layer, which aligns with PM's E2E framework research underway.

Suggested action (both): Test count milestone: Klatch reached 95 tests on day 2 of real work; PM is at 6,146. Both teams should track coverage, not just count.

Background Changes (Noted, Low Priority)

  • Klatch: v0.6.0 released (multi-entity core), CC BY 4.0 license added
  • Klatch: OG social preview image created (SVG + PNG), social media unfurling metadata for klatch.dinp.xyz
  • Klatch: Multi-agent coordination protocol documented
  • Klatch: Workflows added to vision roadmap
  • PM: No commits
